The chlorophyll blue-green algae analyzer consists of a portable handheld operator and a portable sensor. It uses the characteristics of cyanobacteria/chlorophyll in the spectrum that there are absorption peaks and emission peaks. It emits monochromatic light of a specific wavelength into the water. The cyanobacteria/chlorophyll in the water absorbs the energy of the monochromatic light and releases monochromatic light of another wavelength. The light intensity emitted by the cyanobacteria/chlorophyll is proportional to the content of cyanobacteria in the water.
