You will never over/under water your plants again with this tester. USAGE INSTRUCTION 1.Insert about 3-5 inches of the probe to the plant’s root level, and read the soil moisture index on the dial. 2.Avoid hard stones when inserting probe as they may damage the probe. 3.You may need to measure at different depths and places to get a more accurate readings as the moisture may be unevenly distributed in the soil. 4.It has a high sensitivity, and the probe needs to be taken care of. Prevent the probe from being damaged to cause deviation in the measurement data. Remove probe from soil and wipe it clean with dry cloth after each use. Never put this meter into water. For some very loose soil, the reading may be inaccurate. Don’t leave it in the soil for more than half an hour when use.
