Instrument Introduction:

HM-Y12 Food Nitrite Analyzer is an integrated food safety testing and analysis equipment that can quickly detect the nitrite content in meat, canned meat, bacon, sausage, dairy products, pickles, pickled vegetables, etc.; the instrument is based on GB5009.33-2010 “Determination of Nitrite and Nitrate in Food”. The nitrite in the food is extracted and reacted with the detection reagent to form a colored compound, and then the nitrite detector is used to determine its absorbance. Within a certain range, the absorbance is proportional to the content. Through testing, it can be determined whether the food meets the national standards or whether it is an excessively toxic food. The instrument reserves other project detection procedures and ports, and it can be convenient to add detection items according to future needs. It can be upgraded to a comprehensive type of instrument for testing aquatic products and flour products in the future.

Operation steps:

1. Sample pretreatment:

① Weigh 0.5g (0.5ml) of minced sample in a test tube and add pure water to 25ml scale;

② Ultrasonic extraction for 5 minutes, filter and set aside. (If the color is darker, add 0.5g activated carbon, heat in a 60℃ water bath for 10 minutes, and filter while hot)

2. Control sample test

① Take 3mL sample solution and add 0.5mL pure water;

② After shaking, transfer 2.5ml to the cuvette;

③ Place the cuvette in the designated channel and press “Control measurement”

3. Sample test

① Take 3mL sample test solution and add 0.5mL nitrite test solution;

② Place at room temperature (25±5℃) for 10 minutes;

③ Transfer 2.5ml to the cuvette;

④ Place the cuvette in the designated channel and press “Sample measurement”
