The soil potentiometer is composed of pressure gauge, acrylic tube and ceramic probe. After the acrylic tube is filled with water, the ceramic detector is wet and can prevent external air from entering the ceramic detector. When there is a pressure difference between the water potential of the tested soil and the tensiometer, the water in the tensiometer penetrates into the tested soil until it reaches an equilibrium state. At this time, the value displayed by the pressure gauge is the soil water potential of the tested soil.
The length can be customized according to customer requirements (standard length refers to the length of the transparent polycarbonate negative pressure tube in the middle of the tensiometer tube)
